In other news, Will has decided he is a 'phase' man. He is the king of phases. It seems like he's always going through some little thing that ends or goes away after awhile. It started in July, when he decided that naps were lame and he would only sleep for about an hour at a time. And this was going from taking very long naps. But that ended after about a week and his new thing was spitting up. He started puking after every bottle. I ended up changing both our outfits several times a day as well as always keeping a burp cloth handy. That phase has lasted a little longer, but it's going away since now he only spits up like every other day. The next phase was this funny one where he just gasped like crazy, but that only lasted for about a week and a half. And now he's back at the top of the batting order because he wants to ditch naps again. But I guess he has an excuse this time, since he is teething and he feels pretty crummy about it. Poor guy. When I hold him sometimes he just gnaws on my shoulder. Any suggestions to help him feel better?
Here's Will during the gasping phase (Be patient with the video as it takes him a second to really get into it):
Here's Will trying to escape his baby fortress o' solitude. "He's very slowly getting away!" He likes to push his feet and go headfirst.
This is him posing for GQ magazine.
